The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications from highly qualified and motivated citizens across all provinces of Pakistan for regular appointments to Inspector Inland Revenue (BPS-16) and Preventive / Appraising Officers.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:

• Education: Second Class or Grade C Bachelor Degree with Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Statistics, Law, Accounting, or Computer Science from an HEC recognized university.
• Age Limit: 20 to 28 years plus 5 years general age relaxation admissible as per Federal Government rules.
• Domicile Quota: Merit, Punjab, Sindh (Urban & Rural), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, and AJK/GB.
• Physical Standards: Minimum height 5 feet 6 inches (for Males), 5 feet 2 inches (for Females).

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Enforce tax laws, audits, and compliance assessments under the Income Tax Ordinance and Sales Tax Act.
• Inspect commercial shipments, physical examination, and verify customs valuation documents.
• Conduct inquiries, prepare assessment summaries, and report discrepancies to Chief Commissioners.
